Ellen Hresko Counseling, LLC
Counseling
Ellen Hresko works with children, teens, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of psychological and relational difficulties. These difficulties are often due to anxiety and depression, parent-child conflict, life stage transitions, grief and loss, and recent or historic trauma. Her approach is systemic, meaning that Ellen tries to understand human problems in terms of the complex set of psychological and social systems in which they are imbedded - family, social, cultural, educational and emotional experiences. Therapeutic modalities that inform her practice include emotionally focused therapy (EFT), accelerated experimental dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), cognitive behavioral (CBT) and lifespan integration (LI).
